A collaborative project with artist Jessica Brouder, working with the ephemeral and repetitive cycles of plants, foraging local plants along the Lachine Canal and borough of Lasalle. Extracting colours to experiment with natural dye and tapestry weaving, they set up a temporary dye studio, exhibition, and workshop space in the Centre Culturel Henri-Lemieux to demonstrate our process and share knowledge. An artist book documents and reflects on the experience labouring with plants. Supported by a grant from the city of Lasalle.
